Pixel Lineage Oaths — All 12 Oath Powers, Best Picks & Rank 3 Awakening

Oath data verified:

Every Pixel Lineage oath power in one table: what each oath grants at rank 3, what it costs, which one to pick for each build direction, and the Shrine of Oaths rules — one oath at a time, ranked with Knowledge. Oath data verified October 14, 2026.

The system

How Pixel Lineage oaths work

Oaths are combat powers sworn at the Shrine of Oaths in the castle. Only one oath is active at a time, and ranking an oath up with Knowledge awakens its developed power at rank 3 — so the real decision is which power-and-tradeoff pair fits your build, not which oath is strongest in isolation.

The shrine. The Shrine of Oaths stands in the castle hub. If it is dark, repair and relight it for 350 gold before any oath can be sworn.

One slot. Only one oath can be active at a time. Swearing a second oath replaces the first rather than stacking with it, so treat the choice as a build decision, not a checklist.

Rank 3. Oaths rank up with Knowledge. Rank 3 is the awakening milestone: the developed combat benefit in the table below only comes online once that rank is earned, so a freshly sworn oath does not immediately provide its full listed power.

The list

All 12 Pixel Lineage oaths and their powers

The table lists each oath’s developed power — the rank-3 form the sources record — next to the tradeoff it is built around. Read the tradeoff column first: several oaths are only good when their cost lands on a stat your build does not need.

OathPower (rank 3)
Second BreathOnce per battle, crossing below 30% HP triggers a 30% max-HP heal
ThunderclapFirst hit dazes; bosses are weakened instead
Lucky Coin30% bonus-gold chance after a won run battle; +10% gold
Steady Hand35% wider Dodge/Block windows; successes restore one Energy
Wandering ScholarRandom run-long battle Scroll if none worn; +10% XP
WellspringTwo extra starting Energy; defeated foes restore two
Glass Blade+30% Attack/Magic, −20% max HP; crits Blind for two turns
Bulwark+35% Defence, +10% max HP, −12% Attack/Magic; 30% chance to reflect 40% hit damage
Tempest+20% Speed, +5% dodge, −15% Defence; dodges Chill the attacker
Hunter+10% crit, −8% max HP; hits have 35% Poison chance
VampireHeal 12% dealt damage and 10% max HP per kill; −12% max HP
Last Stand+20% max HP, −20% Defence; hits are 30% softer at 40% HP or below

Twelve oaths are recorded, matching the source’s directory; the developed (rank 3) power is listed because the intermediate ranks are not published.

Best picks

Which Pixel Lineage oath should you pick?

Compare the developed effect and its tradeoff before planning the hero around it — several of the strongest oaths pay for their power with max HP or Defence.

Clear-speed direction

Glass Blade

The +30% Attack/Magic is the largest offensive swing in the table, and the −20% max HP cost lands exactly on the players already shortening fights. If the health cost is too much, Hunter's crit and poison pressure is the softer version of the same idea.

Survival direction

Second Breath

The once-per-battle 30% heal triggers exactly when a bad turn would cost a Life, which matches the survival problem. Bulwark is the heavier alternative for players who want the Defence first and accept the offence cost.

Resource direction

Lucky Coin

Gold compounds across every won battle, and it is the only oath in the table that pays out on the reward screen rather than in the fight. Wandering Scholar covers the XP side of the same grinding problem.

What this page does — and does not — claim

The oath directory above is limited to what published sources record: twelve oath powers with their tradeoffs. Numbers those sources do not publish are not invented here.

  • The rank-by-rank numbers between rank 1 and the rank-3 awakening are not published by the sources used here, so the table lists the developed (rank 3) power.
  • Whether a sworn oath can be changed freely or needs another shrine interaction is not detailed by the sources used here.
  • Knowledge income rates are not published, so no oath-ranking budget is calculated on this page.

The Knowledge the ranking consumes also buys growth elsewhere; the classes page covers the class path an oath is meant to fit, and the dungeons page covers where the fights that test it happen.

Common questions

FAQ

What is the best oath in Pixel Lineage?

There is no single best oath, because each one trades something to get something: Glass Blade adds the largest attack swing but cuts max HP by 20%, Bulwark stacks Defence but taxes offence, and Lucky Coin pays gold instead of combat power. Pick by the direction you are building — the three picks on this page match the same clear-speed, survival and resource framework used across this wiki.

How do you get an oath in Pixel Lineage?

Oaths are sworn at the Shrine of Oaths in the castle hub. If the shrine is dark, repair and relight it for 350 gold first — after that, only one oath can be active at a time.

How do you rank up an oath in Pixel Lineage?

Oaths rank up with Knowledge, and rank 3 is the awakening milestone — the developed combat benefit listed for each oath only comes online once that rank is earned. A freshly sworn oath does not immediately provide its full listed power.

Can you have more than one oath active?

No. Only one oath is active at a time, so swearing a second oath replaces the first rather than stacking with it. That single-slot limit is what makes the choice a build decision.
